Two nutritious meals a day, educational toys, outdoor sports and games, brushing teeth together, making music: everything is aimed at allowing the children to develop as broadly as possible. At Noah’s Ark, we make every effort to provide the children with a rich learning environment: challenging materials and activities that stimulate curiosity and an urge to explore, and invite them to play, experiment and learn.
Language development is also very important at this age because the children have to deal with three languages at home: English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. So there is a lot of reading aloud in the classrooms. Bible stories are a favorite with the children.
Every morning more than 150 enthusiastic babies, toddlers and preschoolers come to Noah’s Ark. With much love and patience, they are cared for by the practitioners.
It is a vibrant and lively environment, where you will hear lots of happy children’s laughter!
