Education in South Africa
Good education is very expensive in South Africa, leaving poorer children with access only to government schools with large classes, too few teachers and very low levels of education.

King’s College is a Christian elementary school with over 350 students in the middle of the slums of Jeffrey’s Bay. The building of King’s College has the appearance of a castle so that the students, who grow up in a shabby, unsafe and unsanitary environment, can feel like princes and princesses.
Grade R
In the year children turn 6, they start primary school in Grade R.
Playful learning
Especially in the youngest groups, playing and learning go hand in hand.
Sports
There are times for hard work and concentration, as well as active sports classes.
Grade 7
The oldest primary school children are challenged to be role models for the younger students.
Wide range
There is a wide range of creative subjects: art, cooking, dance and music.
